Linux Beginner – Cybersecurity Student

My name is Hajar. I am a beginner in Linux and currently in my first year of the engineering cycle in cybersecurity.

I am very motivated to learn Linux and understand how it is used in cybersecurity.
If anyone has advice on how to improve my skills, I would be happy to read it and exchange ideas with you!

After you feel comfortable with using Linux, in general, look at the Kali distribution of Linux. It contains lots of FOSS (Free and Open-Source Software) cybersecurity penetration testing tools. You can, of course, get these tools for any Linux distro, but they are all included in the Kali distro. Again, first, get comfortable using Linux.
