Hi,
I am sharing here a CloudFormation template that automates the deployment of "Lab 2.2. Deploy a New Cluster". https://github.com/carlosdams/general-tools-scripts/blob/main/CKAD-lab-lfd259.yml

After the lab is deployed you would have to perform the following operations:
1. Check in the cp host grep -A2 join cp.out
2. Copy the command to add the node and preappend sudo, running it in the worker node
3. Then run in cp node: source <(kubectl completion bash)
4. In cp node remove the taint: kubectl taint nodes --all node-role.kubernetes.io/control-plane-
5. Confirm that both nodes do not have a taint: kubectl describe nodes | grep -i taint
6. Confirm that both nodes are in ready state: kubectl get nodes

Optional:
1. Use k as kubectl: alias k=kubectl; complete -F __start_kubectl k

Other steps like installing Podman or the local repo are not part of this CloudFormation template
