Final Exam Question 14
A Graphical User Interface (GUI) is available with Linux installed on ____________.
a. AWS and WSL b. VMware Workstation Player and Oracle VirtualBox c. All of the above d. None of the above
I choose c but it feedback as incorrect. But, AI said the answer is C:
The correct answer is:
c. All of the above
Explanation
Let's review each option:
a. AWS and WSL:
- On AWS, you can install a Linux GUI (like GNOME or KDE) on EC2 instances and access it via remote desktop tools (VNC, RDP, or NICE DCV).
- On WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux), especially WSL2 and Windows 11, you can run Linux GUI applications natively using WSLg.
b. VMware Workstation Player and Oracle VirtualBox:
- Both are virtualization platforms where you can install a full Linux distribution with a desktop environment (GUI) just like you would on a physical machine.
Because all of the above options support a Linux GUI,
the correct answer is:
c. All of the above
If your previous answer was marked incorrect, it may have been a grading mistake, as "c" is the accurate answer for this question.
