Welcome to the Linux Foundation Forum!

Hello Im Carlos, new on linux

  1. To introduce yourself to other peers taking this course.
Hello everyone, my name is Charlie. I work in IT and telecommunications, and I’m interested in expanding my knowledge of Linux systems administration and security. I’m looking forward to learning with all of you and exchanging experiences.

  2. To discuss concepts, tools and technologies presented in this course, or related to the topics discussed in the course materials.
I’m especially interested in topics like system hardening, process automation, user and permission management, networking, and monitoring tools. Some of the tools I use or want to deepen my knowledge of are Bash scripting, Ansible, Docker, and system monitoring with Zabbix/Prometheus.

  3. To ask questions or report issues with hands-on exercises or course content.
If I encounter issues during the labs, I’ll share them here so we can troubleshoot together. I think discussing errors and fixes is a great way to strengthen our learning.

  4. To share resources and ideas related to Linux.
I’d like to share useful resources such as documentation, cheat sheets, and examples of real-world Linux use cases (like network automation, log management, and secure configurations).

  5. To learn about course updates.
I’ll also be following this space to stay informed about any course updates, improvements, or additional learning resources.
