I need your help virtualbox

Hi everyone!
I need your help.
While I was working in a virtual machine, there was a sudden power outage. After the unexpected shutdown of my computer (running Linux Ubuntu), I can no longer start my Windows 10 virtual machine in VirtualBox 7.0. It contains files that are very important to me.
From the screenshot, it looks like the Windows10.vdi file is missing or has been corrupted.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue and knows how to restore the virtual machine or at least recover the data from it?
Unfortunately, I didn’t make any backups and never thought something like this could happen...
I’d really appreciate any advice or help!

So, I’ve tried countless options without success. Among them was rebuilding the virtual machine with the same configurations — the error disappeared, but the virtual machine simply wouldn’t launch.

The VM window would open and then immediately close. However, I eventually found a way to recover my files using Hetman Partition Recovery. I mounted the VirtualBox virtual disks in the program, scanned for available files, and successfully saved them to a flash drive. I then made several copies and uploaded them to cloud storage.

P.S. Always make backups — anyone can find themselves in a similar situation.

For anyone interested, here’s the link to the article that helped me:
