    Hi @aqeelali80,

Please start by following the lab guide included with the course materials. Generic instructions are available to help set up your VM infrastructure for hands-on lab exercises. Detailed instructions are then provided to install the necessary software on each VM.

Using the hypervisor of choice please start by provisioning two VMs. Naming convention calls for one VM named "cp" that is short for control plane and a second VM named "worker". The course also assumes a user ID "student".
Make sure each VM has 2 CPU cores, 8 GB RAM, 20 GB disk, one network interface "bridged" (if a "Promiscuous mode" option is available, enable it and set it to "allow all" ingress traffic to the VM).
Install the Ubuntu 24.04 LTS guest OS on each VM.
Once both VMs are provisioned, retrieve their IP addresses and report back to determine if any customization is needed for the installation instructions available in the lab guide. Also, provide the MacBook processor architecture - it may be relevant in later steps.

    Good luck!

    Regards,
    -Chris
