Serious concern: Was my CKA exam monitored by a chatbot or by an absent proctor using a chatbot?

During my CKA exam session, I encountered a major technical issue that seriously affected my ability to complete the exam properly.

Hello,

At the very beginning of the exam, I realized I was unable to open a terminal. Clicking on the button had no effect.

I immediately paused the session and requested technical support.

Unfortunately, the support agent did not seem to understand my issue and, after about 20 minutes of ineffective communication, simply informed me that a ticket would be opened without resolving the problem.

After the support person left, I tried again and found that the terminal finally worked.

However, I had already lost more than 20 minutes.

I contacted the proctor several times asking if my lost time could be restored.

Shockingly, I only received the same automatic response over and over again:

“Would you prefer assistance via chat or phone?”

I asked different questions to clarify my situation (“Are you a human?”, “Are you a chatbot”, “Do you speak English”, “Do you understand what I am saying?”, “Can you reset my time?”; "Is there anyone there" etc. etc.), but still received the same scripted reply: “Would you prefer assistance via chat or phone?”

This raises serious concerns about whether I was monitored by an actual person or by a chatbot during a critical exam session. It appeared that the proctor might have been using a chatbot to automatically reply to my messages, instead of providing the necessary human support during the exam.

I believe it can be verified by reviewing the chat logs of my session.

Is there a issue regarding the credibility of the exam ?

I opend a ticket.

Best regards

Great, I failed my first attempt, thanks to the chatbot was monitoring my exam and was not able to reset the time after the issue has been solved

    Hi @ykhennouf

We apologoze for the issues encountered during the exam. The proctors (which are real people, not chatbots) will not reset your time, per the rules of the exam. If there are issues, you must open a ticket with the Linux Foundation Customer Support team at trainingsupport.linuxfoundation.org and they will assist you in rescheduling your exam at a later date.
