Weird VIM issues during CKS exam
Hello,
During my CKS exam, as soon as I try to select some text in VI, it automatically goes into VISUAL mode. Has anyone faced similar issue? If so, a solution would be very helpful. ( I know that setting (set mouse=n) in ~/.vimrc works... But, looking for a practical solution which doesn't waste my time during the exam.
Note: VIM goes to VISUAL mode with mouse click or select on all VMs during the exam. But, this did not happen on the base VM where firefox browser was opened.
Also, during the exam, I was not able to copy paste between exam questions area and VIM. I am very sure, I'm using the correct procedures given.
Thank you.

The same happened to me. I believe the VIM terminal got misconfigured for all the exam takers. I've raised an incident as suggested. Here's the reference, in case somebody else wants to reference
