Lab 9.4 - step 4, create a PV and a PVC within a namespace

Hello,

I wonder why we need to create both a PV and a PVC.

Perhaps I am wrong, but I thought that when a PVC is created, if the PV does not exist, it will created automatically.

I have read this question and I understand there is no need for the -nwhen creating the PV, PVC.

This question can be closed.

PV are only automatically provisioned by the PVC when PVC specifies StorageClass.
