Exercise 9.2: Deploying NFS server

I'm getting a confused deploying the NFS server. Installing the software on the cp went fine. A few questions -

• creating and setting permissions on /opt/sfw/ and /tmp/ seem ok.
• I can create the /opt/sfw/hello.txt.

I think I'm missing something when it comes to step 3. Editing the NFS server. Is there something I'm supposed to add to the /etc/exports file? The file I open is empty and I'm confused what (if anything I'm supposed to add to it).

Hi @jsauerhaft,

The "output" you see on step 3 of the lab guide is what you should add to the exports file.
