kube-proxy and cilium controller/agent

Hello,

On the image provided on the "Component Review", there is both the kube-proxy and the cilium-agent (and a cilium controller on the CP)

I am not sure I understand the role of the cilium agent/controller. If it is meant to be a replacement for kube-proxy, why do both co-exist on the component review image?

Hi @josepmaria,

The Cilium CNI plugin can be installed and can operate alongside the kube-proxy node agent, or as a kube-proxy replacement.
