Hi There, I'm bruno watt from brisbane australia. Ive been working exclusively as a DevEx and GitOps consultant for the last 3 years (as a lead platform engineer in the digital transformation space), with a focus on Backstage for the last 2.

I have implemented backstage as a portal into an event driven CD process, with panels for configuring workloads in catalogs, scheduling and managing testing against lower environments, managing secrets, hoisting environments and creating and automatically deploying new repositories from templates.

Recently i presented at ApiDays where I walked through the entire process from creating a new repo from scaffolder, to automatically injecting that new workload into an ArgoCD Driven Service Catalog and launching its base container and supporting infrastructure.

I decided to enroll in this course as I would ulitmately like to find something to get all my team up to speed and I'm going to see how this goes.

Really looking forward to discovering some things in the nooks and crannies that I'm yet to wrestle with and learning how others are using it.
