I have taken the course and although I understand the sections and their content, I am not clear about the functionality of this document and where and how I should keep it.

I mean, it is not a detailed technical document and it is not a management document either. I understand that it aims to get a general idea of the security of the project, but this is valid if I do not take into account issues such as RBAC, SSO or information security?

Could someone share a real example of a project that has started with this document, how it is maintained and then how it has progressed to more specific policies and definitions?
