Hi -I have a question - how do I corrupt the GRUB config on Centos9/Ubuntu24?
I have VMs installed on a MAC OS PC

If I change the /etc/grub2/grub.cfg as per lab instructions the file is re-generated by a script when rebooting using templates from /etc/grub.d and settings from /etc/default/grub

I was able to blast the whole grub file by renaming it

    I haven't seen that behavior.

Yes, that's another way to do it. You also could delete it, but it would be a bit difficult to restore, as you would need to take a backup first.
