Memory clock issue with AMD 7900XTX with latest kernels

Hello Linux community,

Noticed that with recent kernels (6.10.6, 6.10.7) a memory clock issue started popping up again. I use a 165hz 3440x1440 ultrawide display. It's constantly using 80 watts on idle. This is a kernel issue, because if I use an older kernel say 6.8.1 that Ubuntu is using the issue is gone and wattage is normal again, around 7 watts. Something must have changed in the AMDGPU driver that reintroduces this bug. Just wanted to let the developers know that this is coming back as it probably goes unnoticed (as it is not a visible issue). I'm interested if others have noticed this as well. I've monitored this using CoreCtrl.

kind regards,
