ran commands on control plane node instead of worker

See attached screencap. from this point in the lab exercise, I got three of four steps in before realizing I was issuing commands on control plane node, not worker. Now worker doesn't respond with a login prompt.

  1. Is there any way to salvage this worker node, or should I create another one?
  2. I feel that the commands that were supposed to be run on the worker were ones I already ran on control plane, but will those need to be undone to prevent issues?

  • Control plane was still responding to SSH and shows both nodes are in ready state. CP says scheduling disabled.
I tried restarting the worker node. Didn't help. Then I thought about the steps I performed on CP erroneously .. uncordoned CP and now I have worker node back via SSH. I will try to pick up at the beginning of updating worker node....
