unable to attempt my exam due to PSI issues. Ticket (TCCS-111840) entered.
Good morning. PSI Browser has once again wreck havoc and triggered my anxiety disorder. I have an exam slated for today 08/02/2024 at 6am; been aware of what to expect based on experience in the past, i finished my check-in process on time and proctor released the exam. As i finished with the instruction and about to start/begin, a prompt showed up and was asking me to give my opinion (as if i’d already attempted the exam); i bet the proctor or someone on their end erroneously ended the exam. This got me really upset that i had to start the process again; the check-in process the 2nd time even took longer than the first, but when it was finally completed and the proctor released my exam; as i was about to start, the time remaining was 93mins… I raised an objection with proctor that it should be for the full 120mins as opposed to 90mins (especially when i believed the first disruption has got nothing to do with me and i haven’t even started the exam yet). Proctor couldn’t help, but only suggested i reached out to technical department of PSI. I spoke with/to them for almost 20mins, they couldn”t really be of much help either, they only advised i request for a retake from Linux Foundation.
I am a wreck as i’m typing this because this is a 2nd and final attempt of this exam and i’ve toiled all night in preparation for it. Pls i have not attempted the exam atall. Not even a question….
Attached are excerpts of my conversations with exam proctor. And ticket number given by the technical support was 4356210. Pls i cannot afford to not take the exam especially when it was no fault of mine. Thank you and i shall be looking forward to a resolution for exam retake.
