Let’s try configuring uvcvideo as a built-in and as a module to play with installing, loading and unloading modules.
Configure as a module:
    • **Configure CONFIG_USB_VIDEO_CLASS=y  **
Recompile your kernel and install. Please note that you don't have to reboot your system. You can load your newly installed module.!

I think this must be "m" not "y"
