Knowledge Check Question 26.1

I think I'm going to feel like an idiot when someone answers this question, but I cannot for the life of me figure this out...

Why is "USB Drive" an incorrect answer here? By default when a USB drive is plugged in it gets a /dev/sdX node, does it not??

    Hi @eventhorizonborderpatrol,

I reviewed the material and you are correct; serial ports are character devices (c), so USB devices listed as /dev/ttyUSB* are character devices as well, so they are special files.

We corrected this in the course :) Thanks for flagging this!!

    Regards,
    Luis.
