Which OS should I use to do lab exercises for this course?

Hi there,

I'm using a MacBook Pro with an Apple M1 Pro chip. I'm doing the Exercise 2.1 and 2.2. Can I use MacOS to do lab exercises for this course? Or should I install Ubuntu on a Virtual Machine for doing exercises?

Hi @lucas.ho,

It is recommended to isolate the Kubernetes installation from your host environment. Either Virtual Machines or Containers can be used to achieve such isolation.

However, the preferred method is to provision cloud VMs as infrastructure for lab exercises on AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, etc.
