Exam and certification ban due to unforeseen issues at exam centre
I am writing to express my concern regarding my recent attempt at the CKA exam at an authorized testing center. Unfortunately, I encountered several technical issues that significantly impacted my ability to complete the exam fairly.
Within 15 minutes of starting the exam, it froze twice. After waiting for a solution and receiving no response, I sought assistance from the supervisor. However, shortly after, my exam was abruptly terminated with a vague message.
Adding to my frustration, I received an email notifying me of a ban, which I find deeply concerning and frankly, unprofessional. Despite attempting to appeal to the committee, my efforts have not yielded any positive response, and the ban remains in place.
I am genuinely committed to obtaining the CKA certification and believe the termination and subsequent ban were unjust due to circumstances beyond my control. Therefore, I kindly request your assistance in addressing this matter. Specifically, I would appreciate it if you could:
- Investigate the technical issues that caused the exam disruptions.
- Review the termination decision in light of the documented technical difficulties.
- Provide transparent information regarding the ban and the appeals process.
I am confident that a fair and thorough review will reveal the validity of my concerns and lead to a satisfactory resolution. I am available to provide any additional information or clarification that may be needed. One thing that system was used by others candidates who had given exam before my schedule.

Hi @thalapathy
Linux Foundation exams can be taken online, with a proctor - we do not use on site authorized centers. All exam related issues must be directed to the Linux Foundation Customer Support team- you can open a ticket at trainingsupport.linuxfoundation.org and they will assist you. Please note that response time can take several business days (no weekends or holidays). Forums are used exclusively for course related questions.
