Hi,

Today we clarified a question about the Kubernetes Ingress:

  • Q: Whether a NodePort Service type is needed to configure an Ingress.
  • A: No. A ClusterIP Service type is sufficient for an Ingress. The Ingress is a more elegant and sophisticated approach to expose applications, and to manage inbound traffic to application services running in the cluster. It replaces the need for NodePort services.
