Hi,

We conducted a troubleshooting session on a cluster bootstrapped on ESXi VMs. Since the participant is not in control of the VM provisioning process, nor any networking and firewall related configurations, it was impossible to come up with a solution that would fix the networking issue that prevents calico-node agents from running, and prevents cross node curl attempts to pod IP addresses and service ClusterIP addresses exposing those pods.

Additional research is needed to fully understand the ESXi firewall, and/or calico reconfiguration to possibly bypass the networking limitation of the infrastructure.

At the participant's request the session was not recorded to prevent any work related content to be captured by the recording.
