Would like a second opinion on where I can take the CKA?
Would the work area be Ok for the exam? or should I consider somewhere else?

As long as the work area complies with the guidelines in the Candidate Handbook (https://docs.linuxfoundation.org/tc-docs/certification/tips-cka-and-ckad#acceptable-testing-location), you can take it there. Otherwise, you will need to find a room that matches the expectations outlined in the handbook.
