About using a different monitor

Hi there,

I have a question regarding using a monitor different from the one on my computer. Since I read that you can only use one monitor for the test, and given that I use a built-in camera (I have both MacBook air M1 and a Huawei laptop running fedora workstation), I don't understand how I could use a different monitor than the one on my computer.

Can I pass the proctor check first (you know, the part when they ask you to show your surroundings) and then configure my system settings to only use the second monitor, so that the camera is still on?

Or I guess that I could configure the settings so that both monitors are mirroring?

Please answer before Thursday. I have my exam scheduled, and the first time the VM part of the screen was so tiny (both of my laptops have like 13" screen)
