Kubernetes versions used on the exam

Hi,

I have seen that the current Kubernetes version used in the CKA as of today is 1.24

However, I would like to ask you how do exam version changes work: does it exist something like "a grace period" (notified somewhere) before the Kubernetes version is updated? Or is it something you find out in the exam instructions and, once the exam instructions have been updated with the new version all scheduled exams from that moment onwards must be taken in the new Kubernetes version?

I am basically asking this because 1.25 has been live for some weeks now, and it deprecates PSPs... (not sure if the CKA exam might ask a question related to them though).

Our published "important Instructions" document (https://docs.linuxfoundation.org/tc-docs/certification/tips-cka-and-ckad) states that "the CKA, CKS and CKAD exam environment will be aligned with the most recent K8s minor version within approximately 4 to 8 weeks of the K8s release date."

Our exam technical team is aware that PSP is deprecated but only the documentation is affected at this point. Candidates are able to complete the work with the exam item and instructions presented to them, as the manifest files, etc are provided in the item/ item description.

The candidate handbook is the best place to get info on the latest Kubernetes version used in the exam.
