Preferred distribution choice in LFCS exam

Since the exam lets you choose the distribution(Ubuntu 20.04 LTS or CentOS Stream 8) you test with, can we simply focus on the specific ways of doing things?

Let’s say I wish to test on Ubuntu, can I simply skip the RedHat and OpenSUSE commands to cut on reading time?

  • Hi @snehedu ,

We encourage students to learn, more than just prepare for the exam. In the real world you will find systems based on Debian and Red Hat (and also OpenSUSE, Fedora), so the best thing is to learn more than just one way to make things work.

    Regards,
    Luis.
