Lab 6.1 and Lab 6.2 LFW211

What does the node test indiacate, i mean i know what it does but i want to ask that do we have to write the test ourselves or is it provided somewhere.
The pdf isn't displayed in chrome and it just downloads, further in mozilla firefox the lab assignment pdf just shows in browser itself, but i am still unclear whether we have to write test.js indicated by "node test" ourselves or is it provided and i have missed it??

I found the required resources for the labs in the resources tab, i didn't see it,
