Please remove it!!!

This information is, of course, very important. Unfortunately, it takes up a great deal of space. Is it possible to turn it off somehow? Move it to another place so it doesn't take up the space of the pdf document? The individual tasks are quite long, taking up space makes me have to scroll much more often. Reducing the scale is of course some solution but then the text is much smaller.

You can always download the lab pdf on your machine and do the lab. This way you control the size of the file.

On top of that, the platform itself counts the time spent on a given course. It also records where I finished reading the pdf. Using a file deprives you of these conveniences.

It is true that there are potential inconveniences, but nonetheless, it is an option you have available. The warning is needed, as there are a lot of students using that behavior and then complaining it is an issue - we try to minimize the url-related issue by posting that warning at the top of the lab pdf.
