[linkerd] pod name not showing
The destination pod name is blank:
Did I miss anything? No big deal though I guess...

Hi @thomas.bucaioni,
If you select the Top tool (instead of Tap), do you notice the same behavior?
Regards,
-Chris0 -
Hi @chrispokorni
The behavior seems to be the same in the Top tab:
But my install was with containerd rather than docker, to give it a try

As described in step 15, if you select a line beginning with TO (instead of FROM), you should see the destination fields populated as well.

Hi @chrispokorni
The TO field doesn't show anything in the Destination column neither:

Hi @thomas.bucaioni,
That is strange... it works with docker and cri-o runtimes. I would need to deploy a new cluster with containerd to try and replicate this behavior.

Hi @chrispokorni
No worries, it's not a big issue for the lab... Just to know if I missed something
Here are the blogs I used for the install:- https://www.nocentino.com/posts/2021-12-27-installing-and-configuring-containerd-as-a-kubernetes-container-runtime/
- https://www.golinuxcloud.com/calico-kubernetes/
- https://devopsquare.com/how-to-create-kubernetes-cluster-with-containerd-90399ec3b810
Nothing that should interfere with Linkerd there at least
