Welcome to the Linux Foundation Forum!

LSF258 Kubernetes CKA. Exam. Are multiple terminal tabs allowed?

Hi!

In my professional workflow I am used to multiple terminal tabs when I do something on the shell. In one tab (say A) I execute commands, like kubectl apply -f manifest.yml. In another tab (say B) I keep track of the result of my commands, like watch -n 5 kubectl get pods. In another tab (say C) I keep track of my help or man equiries, like kubectl scale --help. In yet another tab (say D) I copy and paste snippets, like vim snippets_on_the_fly.

Is it possible to have multiple shell terminals during the exam, or does one has to make do with one only?

If there is only one terminal, can I use a note app to at least copy/paste snippets, help and so on?)

Thank you in advance for the answer.
