Error: ALERT! UUID=3ce51be3-8348-4330-8631-d2d9390f3d33 does not exist. Dropping to a shell

hi, I have had problems restarting the computer after installing a kernel, i.e. after doing the command: make install
I have tried to solve in different ways, but they have not worked for me.
So I wonder, isn't it better to prevent that error from appearing, so I don't have to repair the same problem every time ?
when you restart the computer, it stays in the initramfs console, like so:

  1. Gave up waiting for root file system device. Common problems:
  2. - Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline)
  3. - Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough?)
  4. - Missing modules (cat /proc/modules; ls /dev)
  5. ALERT! UUID=3ce51be3-8348-4330-8631-d2d9390f3d33 does not exist. Dropping to a shell!

How do I avoid that error ?

Sorry my English is bad
