Lab 6.3 Question

This lab is about creating a reverse dns zone. We map ip address 10.20.45.X -> hostX.example.com

Does anyone know how to do this with "octets" other than the last? e.g. can we do

10.20.X.Y -> hostZ.example.com?

    The default netmask for a 10. network is 255.0.0.0. You can adjust you network as desired with the netmask.

    You may wish to experiment with the ipcalc command to see the effect the netmask has on the available address. ipcalc it is available on most distros.
