Using GCE to Set Up Labs

Hello,
I started to set up the environment using GCE to create the master instance.The instance is up and running, but I am not able to connect the Putty Client to the external IP of the instance ( IP 35.223.152.235) because the connection goes in time out. Can someone help me to resolve the issue?

Hi @albtau81,

The connection attempt from the putty client and the remote GCE instance could time out in different situations: a client side (workstation) firewall or a corporate VPN, the server side (GCE) VPC and its associated firewall rule.
Did you happen to follow the GCE setup video from Chapter 1? Is there anything that was done differently, or skipped during the setup process?

Hi @chrispokorni,
thanks, I solved the issue...probably I missed something in the setup video. In fact, I created a new VPC closer to me and now it works ( no timeout in connection).
