You need to work in Desktop dir in Ubuntu workstation

    mkdir ~/Desktop
    cd Desktop

    check lab 1 page 4

  • AWESOME!!! It worked, thanks... I was struggling with that for days, I didn’t read the small words lol...

  • Hi, please....
    " / generate.sh
./generate.sh: line 19: cryptogen: command not found
Failed to generate crypto material... "

    this solution... no running:
    " mkdir ~/Desktop
    cd Desktop "

    Please other way....Thank You

@vmackfuture, Let try to solve this. Are you able to create the Fabric-samples folder in the Desktop directory?

  • HI, yes but...nothing...

And your Sanity check all works?

  • Yes, I have tried for days in several opportunities and without success, step by step, letter by letter.
Maybe it can be influenced by the linux system I have installed on external disk and Oracle virtual machine?
I don't know what to do anymore, searching on youtube but it's all past lessons.
    Thank you.

    The solution is add fabric-samples/bin...

    1. export PATH=$PATH:$HOME/fabric-samples/bin
    2. source ~/.bashrc # or source ~/.zshrc
