Question 15.1 - How can access to services and ports be regulated?

It seems iptables is an incorrect answer to this question.

I beg to differ; it's how I control access to several servers & services.

But, maybe I misunderstand the question. Can someone elaborate on why it is considered incorrect?

Also, xinetd is considered correct but isn't mentioned in any labs, nor Chapter 15.

What am I missing?

Xinetd was mentioned in an earlier chapter.
