Section 5 Lab Help

Bottom of page 5, I am getting this error:

onos@network:~$ cd /opt/onos
onos@network:/opt/onos$ ./bin/onos
ssh: connect to host localhost port 8101: Connection refused

onos@network:/opt/onos$ sudo ./bin/onos
[sudo] password for onos:
ssh: connect to host localhost port 8101: Connection refused

How do I fix this?

I got it to work. The fix is to build the network server with Ubuntu 18 instead of 16 (referenced in Chapter 4 Lab) because the openjdk-11-jre package referenced in Chapter 5 Lab doesn't exist for Ubuntu 16.

@kjordan8 Have you downloaded the latest lab exercises, updated 1.19.2021? The latest labs work with Ubuntu 20.04, not 16.04. Please go to the Resources tab to download the one file with all updated labs, or you can download each individual lab from with the course, in its respective chapter.
