Banshee Media Player (The best media management application ever) is in desperate need of an update.

I am not a developer, and this is my first time posting here.

I am however a long time Linux user.

I have been using Banshee Media Player for many years. It is by far the most powerful and advanced media application ever made. It has literally everything. Audio/Video, podcasts, media tagging, network capabilities, so many extensions its crazy. It's just a remarkable and capable media management software. I am so certain of this opinion, that i challenge anyone to prove me wrong, but that is not the reason for this post. lol

The problem is though, it is no longer maintained and I am posting here to see if there is anyone out there that would be willing to pick up the mantle and keep this remarkable software running.

There are many many people that I'm sure would live to see an update.

I am willing to donate $100 to the individual or team willing to make this happen. I realize this is just a small drop in a huge bucket, but its at least a start.
