Expired certificate for https://linux.thoughtindustries.com

Hi, just raising this in case you weren't already aware of it @fcioanca

Firefox is throwing a security warning when I'm attempting to https://trainingportal.linuxfoundation.org/

That uri redirects to https://linux.thoughtindustries.com/access/saml/login?returnTo=https://trainingportal.linuxfoundation.org/learn/dashboard which in turn triggers this warning.

Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead

Firefox detected an issue and did not continue to linux.thoughtindustries.com. The website is either misconfigured or your computer clock is set to the wrong time.

It’s likely the website’s certificate is expired, which prevents Firefox from connecting securely. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.

What can you do about it?

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

Thank you @GRO 108 I will let our Tech Support team know about this warning.

  • I am also receiving the same prompt for the cert with Firefox. Appears the cert expired on August 9th.
