Lowlevel graphics programming

Hi all!
I want to program lowlevel Linux graphics on an UEFI PC. But I have no clue, what the lowlevel gfx are: Is it a framebuffer device?
And where can I read how to program that device?

OK, I found it. It is efifb.
And info is here:
