LFS201 - Chapter 03 Process - Controlling Processes with ulimit

Hello all,

here:
https://trainingportal.linuxfoundation.org/learn/course/essentials-of-linux-system-administration-lfs201/processes/processes?page=5

I tried this by user and also by root:
ulimit -a

But I'm not able to notice any differences in output, as the manual suggested:

'If you run this command as root, you will get a somewhat different output. Try it!'

I checked in Debian 10, CentOS 8, OpenSuse 15.2

Please, could you help me?

Thank you!

    Hi @saintex ,

I confirmed I get the same default values when printing the resource limits for root and a non-privileged user on Ubuntu 18.04 and CentOS 7. We are checking on this.

    Regards,
    Luis.

It is an error and the highlight box needs to be removed. Thanks for pointing this out.
