How to recover accidentally deleted /etc/rc.d and /etc/rc0.d files or folders?

Options

Hi There,

I am new to LINUX/UNIX systems.
I have accidentally deleted /etc/rc.d and /etc/rc0.d folders, we have a similar server with almost same services.

  1. Can we copy the files/folders from the identical server to damaged server without affecting the folder structure, symlinks or softlinks, file ownership or groups in linux. (there is no connection between servers have to copy to local and local to damaged server) to minimize the impact?

please help me with the commands for copying these files or folders /etc/rc.d and /etc/rc0.d with symlinks and other properties.
