Welcome to the Linux Foundation Forum!

List of supported hardware.

If I wrote in the wrong section or I asked a stupid question, please correct me.

Is it possible to try to create a list of supported devices for the kernel?
Github is the best place because every authorized developer can add their own device.

I found the last list of supported devices from 2007 https://www.linux.com/news/my-hardware-linux-compatible-find-out-here/
And not all links are working longer.

However for example ...
I tried search example driver for one person
This website don't have drivers for Linux https://www.realtek.com/en/component/zoo/category/rtl8723bs-software
But linux / kernel code have annotations about RTL8723BS https://github.com/torvalds/linux/search?p=1&q=RTL8723BS&unscoped_q=RTL8723BS
But based on this code, I can't guarantee any person that their module is supported by the kernel.
