Did someone use a Brother VC-500W ?

It is a color-label-printer using ZINK ("zero ink") technology. That sounds quite interesting. But after I had some trouble getting my P700 to print, I guess the VC-500W will be much more difficult to install.

Did someone succeed with this one?

I'm also looking for som information regarding Brother VC-500W and linux. I want to print out visitorbadges at our reception. And doing so in colour would be nice.

It doesn't appear that Linux of any flavor is supported for that model. Maybe there's a trick to getting it load load with wine or some Android emulator ( they support Android? )
