Is the printer database being updated?

I'm looking for a new printer and none of the current products (consumer inkjet, from HP, Epson, Brother, etc.) are listed in the printer database. and I don't really want to purchase a brick.

    What kind of Printer do you want? Network Printers may not need a driver (can use the generic Postscript driver) or may have an AirPrint driver available.

    A whole lot of them operate just like another printer that already has a driver in the database.
    As this is Open Software, the idea is you get it to work, and enter it into the database with an assessment of how well it works.
    If you find the database is not being updated, are you supplying any information to put into it?
