Exam material and distribution selected for the exam

Apologies if this is a duplicate but since I am about to schedule my first exam, I would like to know whether the choice on the exam distro (Ubuntu 18.04 vs CentOS7) will rule out (the opted out) distro-specific stuff.

So e.g. does choosing Ubuntu rule out SELinux and yum questions?

AFAIK, the exams are all performance-based, thus it makes no sense to ask yum questions on Ubuntu or apt on CentOS. etc. While you can do selinux on ubuntu, it is not standard or for the faint hearted so I would not worry about that either. I don't write the exams, but this seems to be common sense advice

In the real world, however, you will want to be able to use more than one distribution of course as you never know what is going to hit you, and it is important to know what is LInux, what is Ubuntu or Debian, etc.
