I am looking for a Linux Mint Cinnamon 19.1 firewall that will allow me to do something I could do with old versions of Comodo and ZoneAlarm firewalls in Windows years ago. I need a firewall that asks me for permission EVERY TIME when a program wants access (in and/or out) to the Internet. I don't want a rule that blocks a program that I might want to let out some times but not at other times. For example, with the old software mentioned above I discovered that a file manager I was using wanted to go to the Internet. There was no reason for a file manager to go to the Internet. Only by asking for my permission will I discover rogue software. Thanks...
