How to Edit/Update file without using vi command

Generally to Edit (or) Update the File, We'll use vi command.

Could you pls know the command to Edit/Update the file without using vi command.

I don't fully understand this. There are many Text Editors available in Linux other than Vim. https://alternativeto.net/software/vim/?platform=linux
