Lab 3.2 node installation failed

Environment: AWS VPC with 2 medium large nodes (ubuntu 16.04 LTS)
Step 6 fails with:

[discovery] Trying to connect to API Server "172.31.57.36:6443"

Does anyone know what causes this?

Sorry, accidentally ran script twice. And fail to communicate with master is correct behaviour on LAB 3.2. No issue now. please close this post.
