Question about LFCE exam, 'Ctrl + Alt +w' not working

Hi.

I've a question about LFCE exam. In the instructions of exam, it's mentioned that when we need to use 'Ctrl + w', we should use 'Ctrl + Alt + w' as 'Ctrl + w' is going to close the tab. Last time while I was taking exam, 'Ctrl + Alt + w' wasn't working on my system when I needed (to copy the text in tmux or to switch between split screens of vim). I was using Google Chrome and Ubuntu distribution.

Thank you.
